Health insurance is a type of insurance against potential illnesses and health problems. The range of coverage of medical insurance varies according to the type and cost of the policy. In some countries, there is something called universal health insurance, which covers most health problems that could befall their citizens. Currently, Egypt doesn’t have universal health insurance, although the government is planning to apply it before the year 2025.

So, if you need health insurance, you will have to buy a policy from an insurance company, and in return, you pay an annual fee. In other cases, the company for which you work supplies you with health insurance as part of the employment package offered. So, the company is the one that buys the policy from an insurance company and it includes certain coverage for its employees, depending on the type of policy and its cost. This is considered an added benefit to anyone looking for work, especially if they have a family.
