Compare Between Cash Services in Telecom Companies

E-wallets aren’t only in banks!

Currently, telecommunication companies provide cash services. Simply speaking, this is essentially an e-wallet on your phone. Supposedly, you can use it to pay bills or transfer money, and so on; however, there is a catch. This service does come at a certain expense: you must already have a telephone line with your chosen company to use it.

WePay:

Service Subscription fees: Free of charge if you have a We line.

Telephone Line Prices: The price of a line is 75 EGP; of course, expenses increase as services increase

Maximum Deposit in the Wallet: 10,000 EGP per day

Maximum Withdrawal and Transfer Amount: 6,000 EGP per day

Withdrawal Fees: 1% of the amount, with a minimum of 3 EGP

Vodafone Cash:

Service Subscription fees: Vodafone Cash is free if you have a Vodafone line

Telephone Line Prices: The price of a line is 85 EGP; of course, expenses increase as services increase

Maximum Transaction Limit: 50,000 EGP per month

Maximum Withdrawal and Transfer Amount: 6,000 EGP per day

Withdrawal Fees:

  • Between 5-150 EGP, 3 EGP will be withdrawn
  • Above 150 pounds, 2% will be withdrawn

Transfer Fees: 1 EGP will be deducted from the amount

Our advice is to use the one provided by the company you usually use.

Orange Cash:

Maximum Deposit in the Wallet: 10,000 EGP per day

Maximum Withdrawal and Transfer Amount: 6,000 EGP per day

Withdrawal Fees: 2% of the amount, with a minimum of 3 EGP

Transfer Fees: 1 EGP will be deducted for each transfer transaction

Etisalat Cash:

Service Subscription fees: Etisalat Cash is free if you have an Etisalat line

Telephone Line Prices: The price of a line is 80 EGP; of course, expenses increase as services increase

Maximum Deposit in the Wallet: 10,000 EGP per day

Maximum Transaction Limit: 50,000 EGP per month

Maximum Withdrawal and Transfer Amount: 6,000 EGP per day

Withdrawal Fees: 2% of the amount, with a minimum of 2 EGP

ATM Withdrawal Fees: 1% of the amount, with a minimum of 2 EGP

Transfer Fees: 1 EGP will be deducted for each transfer transaction

Summary:

There isn’t a huge difference between each of the above services as almost every company imitates the other. Our advice is to use the one provided by the company you usually use, that way; the expenses will not increase too much for you.
