The Latest in Cashback Offers in Egypt

Several banks announced on their official Facebook pages the launch of a new service offered in conjunction with their bank cards, whether they be credit cards or debit cards which is cashback service.

So if you are the owner of one of their bank cards, then keep reading as this article is for you.

What are cashback offers?

• These are  rewards given by banks to their clients who possess one of their cards (credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards). 
• These rewards are in the form of reimbursing part of the money spent by the client while shopping.
• Banks came up with this idea to promote payment with cards over cash; the more you use the card the more money you get back.

Banks offering cashback service:

• National Bank of Egypt (NBE)
• Credit Agricole Egypt
• Arab Bank
• Commercial International Bank (CIB)
• Bank ABC

What are the cashback rewards offered by the banks?

National Bank of Egypt:

If you have one of their Signature Visa cards, the bank offers up to 700 EGP cashback on your purchases of 10,000 EGP or more for a limited time only.

Arab bank:

Cashback up to 10% if you use their Visa cards to pay for school fees or supplies.

You can also pay both in instalments. To benefit from this offer, send “BTS” in a SMS to 1120.

Credit Agricole Egypt:

10% cashback when using Credit Agricole Visa cards on booking.com till 31st of October 2022.

Commercial International Bank (CIB):

For any of their clients with a credit card, CIB offers 25% cashback on school supplies at any stationery store in Egypt till the 31st of October 2022.
