5 Times You Should Use Cash Instead of Credit Cards

If you have a car loan installment, try not to pay the installment from the credit card

Some believe that having a Credit Card means they don’t need to use cash at all, and in some cases that is true. Credit Cards can be a better alternative to cash but using your Credit Card in some situations will actually harm your Credit Limit.

Here are 5 situations where you should use cash instead of credit card:

Credit Card Payments!

If your Credit card has some due payments but you don't have enough cash on hand, it is preferable that you don’t withdraw cash from your Credit Card to pay the due amount and instead apply for a personal loan and consolidate your debt.

Car Installments!

If you have a monthly car installment or car loan to pay, try to avoid using your Credit card for the installment payments as that will just add an extra payment that you must save up for and pay later. Instead try to put aside part of your salary specifically for the monthly car installment or loan.

Rent or Home/Property Installments!

Same as with car installments and loans. Avoid using your credit card to pay monthly installments or real estate loans so that you don’t end up with an even larger installment to pay.

Medical Bills!

If you suffer from a chronic disease such as diabetes or blood pressure and you need to buy specific medicines each month, don’t use your credit card. Instead use your medical insurance provided by your workplace or apply for medical insurance on your own. That way you will be able to pay a fraction of the medical bills each month instead of the whole amount.

If you have a monthly car installment or car loan to pay, try to avoid using your Credit card for the installment payments

Entrepreneurial Project!

When you begin a new venture avoid using your credit card to make sure your project produces a constant profit. If you use your credit card, you’ll end up using all or most of your profit to pay off the credit card debt and you will not be able to save up at all.
